As a mom of 2, and having personally suffered from postpartum depression and anxiety, my focus is on supporting other women on their journey to motherhood. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I am committed to serving women struggling with prenatal and postpartum adjustment, and those who experience perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
I have received specialized training in the assessment, treatment, and advanced practice of postpartum depression by the Postpartum Stress Center and Postpartum Support International.
Through individual and group therapy, I allow mothers to discuss their struggles without fear of judgment. I help women set realistic expectations and goals for themselves. I believe that expectant and new mothers need to be informed about what to “really” expect to prepare and take part in the lifelong journey of motherhood.
In addition, as a former Miami Coordinator for Postpartum Support International, I offer support to moms and their families, and provide training and education for the community on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
